If there’s one thing I love about fall (in addition to the fashion), it’s football. Whether watching it, playing it or tailgating for it, a girl’s got to look Game Day Glam. Now, I don’t mean mini skirts and tank tops; I’m talking cute, game-day gear that still says, “I’m a fashion-conscious fan.”

I’m a tried-and-true Buckeyes fan (O-H…!), so when I found this top for $20 at Nordstrom Rack, it was a no brainer. My go-to’s for game day? A carry-all, a hair tie and sunglasses. Because, well:

  1. It’s good to be that girl with the blanket in her bag.
  2. You’re going to need it for flip cup tailgates.
  3. You’ll want these if you’re looking into the sun… Or if you forget that hair tie.

When I’m getting dressed, I layer tailored pieces and mix it up with prints. Think leather jackets, toothpick jeans and sharp blazers. Stripes on stripes lends a chic, laid back vibe to your ensemble, so you can show off your fashion-conscious fan’ship without looking like a cheerleader.
