My t-shirt stack has been in heavy rotation as of late, and this one from Markus Lupfer is no exception.

This tee is one of the first-ever “designer” pieces I purchased for myself. It was right before my first trip to Fashion Week and I had no idea what to wear. (I ended up spilling coffee on it — that was that. Metaphor for my life!)

I love the subtle reddish tint in the lips — especially because it helps me find ways to pair it with every other bright-bottomed piece that I stockpile own. (Maybe not these chartreuse pants, though.)

Anchor the look with black pumps and it’s out the door I go.

A few of you have asked (via Instagram) about these shoes — they’re from and they’re actually quite comfortable.

They take a walk or two to break in, but I commuted from my apartment to work (about 20 blocks) in them and felt fine. I’ve been eyeing an identical pair from Joe’s Jeans for awhile now, so these are a wallet-happy alternative.

    • Ha! Great minds think (and shop) alike… To be honest, the Joe’s version is probably a bit more structured/comfortable up-front, but these are a great alternative and once you break them in, they’re very wearable.

  1. The ones from Joe’s Jeans are nearly identical! I couldn’t believe how close the two are when I found them both — and if the JustFab ones are comfortable then they’re definitely the no-brainer choice. Super cute!
