Haha I used to avoid bringing a coat out like no other! I mean…who wants to pay $5 for coat check? Oh to be young and dumb again (not). That’s obviously no longer the case, coat check all the way!
Love the layering! So cute have an awesome week!

You’ve officially convinced me that I need a puffer vest. How I don’t own one is ridiculous!

Fleece lined leggings sound like something I need pretty immediately.
Yep. This pair has the Grace Atwood stamp of approval, too! ; )
I was laughing at a group of tank top wearing teenagers this weekend while I was out with my girls! Oh the good old days.

I am obsessed with these boots! Thankfully my area in Kansas hasn’t gotten too many snowstorms right now but I know we will soon so I get to get a pair of those.
Your blog is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Love your writing style:)
Love your puffer vest!

This a nice layered look, yet it doesn’t look frumpy or lumpy…how layers tend to make one look. #Cayoot
I’ve always hated layers because as a kid I hated not being able to bend my arms or twist. Now I really don’t care. More layers equals more warmth and I’d rather not be an icicle than be able to bend at the elbow.
Perfectly cute in winter layers! XO

Used to do the same thing, but now staying warm is #1. Love the short Sorels, great for commuting!
Oh Buoy Boston
Do you remember those Gap ads with the tanks tops and skinny scarves? Hilarious in hindsight! 😉
ps - LOVE these snow-filled outfit shots, so perfect! Your photog is amazing. And those boots ARE fate… I totally believe it.
Oh wow, THROWBACK! Yes, I do. Ha!
Thank you for the compliment RE: Lydia, I’ll pass that along to her! : )
This weekend was the WORST! Literally so hard to dress appropriately when you go out at night. (Miss the college days when you just went out in a leather jacket and didn’t care if it was snowing haha!).

This made me LOLLLL… And you can’t wear your cute shoes, too. UGH! ; )
I know! The struggle is real. Possibly time to move somewhere warm haha!
Love your snowy pics! While in NYC last week, I learned being cute is NOT possible for me. I’m sticking to warmer weather climates.

(Cute post) and yes I do remember those days. I have to say, it also seemed a lot easier to catch a taxi. I would stand inside, wait for my doorman to grab a taxi & hop in. Pull right up to the bar and then run in. These days, NYC is so crowded, it takes a while. Especially on a Fri/Sat night. Do like my friends and I, we have going out coats. I purchased a down coat from Zara, clearly inexpensive and I only use it on the wknds and at night. If something happens to it, who cares. I rather that coat be damaged over my Burberry down. I think we’ve all grown. Scary.

Bahaha! Oh my gosh my girlfriends and I were the worst about not wearing coats in the dead of winter! I completely forgot about that. Seriously, what were we thinking?!
I was the queen of not wearing a coat in college… until I graduated and realized that in real cities you have to wait in line at the bars. Brrr! Great post, I love the pops of blue and green to brighten up a winter look!
Do you think these vests fit true to size? Want to buy one but scared of sizing!
No, size down! I’m wearing a small — I bought one for my mom, too, and she’s a medium. Hope that helps!
OMG I love that your vest is monogrammed. I must get a monogrammed puffer vest like yesterday! And I love the snow boots… I wish I had a reason to have some (every so often).
