Runway the Real Way: Get this Prada Look for Less

~~Christmas~~ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is finally here!

Whose collections are you most looking forward to seeing? I, for one, am particularly excited at what Miuccia Prada has up her sleeve this season. I’m not sure what we’ll see coming down the runway (Teetering flatforms? Utilitarian handbags? Sportswear-inspired skirts?) but we can be confident that Prada will continue to deliver a dose of forward-thinking fashion. Bring on the white tents!

Remember this dress? It’s my favorite piece and the most memorable frock from the spring 2011 womenswear collection that found it’s way onto eight glossy mag covers and a handful of red carpets.

The actual dress is no longer available (not like I could afford it anyway), but there is good news for you bargain-savvy shoppers! After scouring the Web for the brightest, boldest affordable look-a-like fashions available, I found this Stripe Frills Dress a la ASOS.
