I’m a tried-and-true Buckeyes fan (O-H…!), so when I found this top for $20 at Nordstrom Rack, it was a no brainer. My go-to’s for game day? A carry-all, a hair tie and sunglasses. Because, well:

Not a huge sports fan over here, but I have been indoctrinated into the love of the Buckeyes. Which means your red and gray shirt is killer! I’d love to have a few more pairs of skinny or boyfriend jeans that I could mix and match with various tops depending on who’s playing

I live in my super soft Script Ohio shirt on Saturdays, but I would love to get some outerwear in scarlet or grey to stay cozy when the temperatures start to take a dive!
I work in a high school, so every Friday is team colors day! For me that equals orange, black and white. (good thing orange is my favorite color and I look great in black!) I hunt down cute and casual pieces in those colors to pair with skinny jeans and my converse slip-ons. My favorite go-to this year has been a black dolman sleeve with a B&W polka dot infinity scarf. I can wear this after the game and not feel too cheesy:)

#GameDayGlam… easy. First off when going to sporting events it’s important to show off your school spirit and since colored bottoms are in, I’d grab a pair of colbolt blue jeans, pair it with a silver sequined t-shirt and slip on my black loafers. If it’s a little chilly out I’ll grab my cheetah print or black scarf pashmina scarf, wrap it around my neck and ta-dah!

I’m planning to visit my alma mater for homecoming, so sporting some purple in a chic way is necessary. A luxe, long, plum cardigan over dark denim, with what I want to find at Nordstom Rack most, a fabulous pair of boots. I love a play on school colors to show some spirit.

Luckily, one of my team’s colors is navy so nautical stripes are an easy go-to. I would buy fall booties since I don’t own a pair and they would take my game day ensemble to the next level while still being comfortable enough to wear all day long at the game!

Being a cowboys/mavs/rangers fan blue is a core color for any of the games. For Rangers games I rock off shoulder blouse, skinnies and some chucks and add sparkle bracelet for a girlie touch.
Football and basketball games I can go more glam. Wearing a blazer with the team shirt underneath with skinny jeans and bright blue heels =)
Game days involves me wearing black & yellow….my husband is a major Pittsburgh Steeler fan, so my law I am too.

I love stripes, so another striped top would be great. The last time I went to Nordstrom Rack, my daughters helped choose 2 semi-special occasion dresses which looked fine on me and were in my favorite hues of red and burgandy. They have quite a collection of shoes to browse.

If I won, I would purchase the French Connection ‘Ziggy’ Print Silk Dress in pink and white because no team is affiliated with those colors. Why? I am a sports lover, not a team lover and no team, none, have pink as their colors. I am the Sweden of sports and I always wear dresses to games.

I cringe at the overzealously dressed female fans. I keep it pretty simple by choosing one logo item or item in team colors. Low-heeled boots are a staple. You’re there to have fun, so wear something comfy but still classy!
