5 Ways to Wear Military-Inspired Style

in events, fashion salad

Happy Friday… At last! I arrived home late last night from New York, where I spent a few days with Macy’s and Glam. Here’s a peek at my favorite photo from the entire shoot — me, Ashley,Tammy and Channing with Bianca and Robert from the Glam team.

I’ll be sharing more photos next week (there’s a few on instagram, too), but in the meantime, let’s head into the weekend talking army-inspired style.

The military trend has been all over the runway and has since successfully made it’s return to my closet in a variety of ways. From accessories to jackets to shoes (duh), it’s an easy way to give your wardrobe an instant update. My favorite elements of this trend include camo prints, double-breasted coats, rows of buttons, embellished booties and structured style.

Here’s five quick ways to update your look with military-inspired style:

*Shop these looks at Macy’s: 1. INC military embellished blazer / 2. Estée Lauder eyeshadow palette in Emerald Oasis / 3. INC high-waisted ponte knit skirt, Cole Haan Tennley buckle boots / 4. Jessica Simpson Nermin buckle bootie / 5. INC colorblock double-breasted coat
