Finding Nemo

What a difference one day can make…

On the second full-force day of Fashion Week, New York awoke to the freakin’ sky falling. “Nemo” wasn’t quite rain or snow — more of a wintry mix that came at you from all angles.

Jessica and I were not happy about it. (Yes, we spent a lot of time together, so get used to seeing her mug ‘round here the next week!) Nonetheless, I threw on my favorite Nicole Miller dress and a semi-waterproof pair of boots, because the show(s) must go on.

Grabbing a cab wasn’t an option, so we essentially army-crawled our way to the Jack Rogers showroom, where we spent the afternoon sipping champagne and talking about shoes. Not a bad way to — ahem — weather the storm, huh?

Afterward, we retreated to close quarters to charge our phones and indulge in a few libations. Jalapeño grapefruit martini, anyone?

  1. I love that Nicole Miller dress so much! And Rockie… he’s such a cutie!

Also, really pissed I didn’t take that blazer of yours back to my apartment. Loves it. Need it.

  2. This by far has to be the most fabulous and happy (i.e. the gorgeous bright colors) “snow day” outfit I’ve seen! That Nicole Miller dress in gorg and has me ready for spring!

Oh - it’s totally normal to weather a storm by sipping on champagne and buying shoes…not sure why not everybody knows that! 😉

    xo, Stephanie :)
