Grown-up Track Pants

Another chronicle in the tales of a serial snooze artist!

In an attempt to prolong the weekend, these side-stripe trousers (grown-up track pants, as I’ve been referring to them) have been my go-to Monday morning wardrobe staple.

Racing-stripe pants. Who’d have thought? I picked up this pair on my first-ever trip to Century 21 a few weeks ago when Kate was visiting. My eye was immediately drawn to the monochromatic racing stripe and I was delighted to discover that they were actually glorified sweatpants that could pass for office-appropriate apparel. Fashion JACKPOT!

I can’t believe I’ve lived my life thus far without having stepped foot in a Century 21. If you’re making a trip to New York (or you live here and haven’t been), I’d highly recommend. It’s designer discount shopping on steroids, and it’s located just across the street from Lincoln Plaza, where Fashion Week is held.
