I like the Michael Kors watch a lot and you’ve tempted me to buy it. However, I would like to caution you to not purchase the Cupcakes and Cashmere book! There is no original content and is a near duplication of her blog. Please do not waste your money on that book or advise your readers to do the same.
Ah, really? That’s a shame. Good to know, though - thank you for the head’s up, lady!
Thank you for not moderating my comment. I appreciate it!
Oh, I liked the Cupcakes and Cashmere book! I thought it was cute and had some fun, pretty stuff in it. I guess it had some things repeated from the blog, but it was more like a continuation of the stuff she usually posts. IDK, I thought it was cute, I’m glad I bought it. I guess I get it though, people might have been expecting more. Anyway I love all of your picks Hallie! Especially the striped dress with the big pockets, and the dress with the little feathery stuff on the bottom. I need the holidays to come so I can start requesting some presents! Hah.
YES to the holidays! Black Friday/Cyber Monday in particular…
Also good to know about the book; thanks! I think I want to browse it in-store. Kinda like test-driving a car, I guess. : )
The Michael Kors watch is at the top of my list too — definitely the perfect sale to take those one or two investments you’ve been considering and go for it!
“its like real estate investing”… hahahaaa if only my bank account agreed.. I just snagged this chunky rebecca minkoff cowlneck sweater on their site yesterday that I’ve been lusting after, but THATS IT! I am so proud of myself.. I do love that black feathered dress you picked.. and there are a couple other things I would have snagged if they hadn’t sold out of my size. Now, Saks friends & family started today also. I’m in big trouble.
Um, chunky. cowlneck. sweater. Check, check and check! I’m off to browse that now. I haven’t purchased anything *yet* although my shopping cart is incredibly full. Trying to edit down, ha! Good luck to you - stay strong the next 24 hours. : )
my favorite time of year!
