Proportions

I love a color-packed palette as much as the next girl, but an ensemble that’s mainly monochromatic can be the prettiest way to go.

… And over the past few months especially, I’ve become uncharacteristically drawn to winter white.

Cold-and-dreary weather or not, when it comes to styling a look that’s sleek, chic and sophisticated, I often go heavy on the neutrals and light on the brights. You really can’t go wrong, can you? (But, seriously, is it spring yet?)

The thick texture of this Zara mermaid skirt keeps the look feeling cool-weather appropriate, and while the New York in me swears by her all black ensembles, today’s ivory tone makes for a refreshing style statement.

I’m off to the west coast today (with quite the send-off yesterday) so here’s hoping I can leave my faux fur separates at home. Vitamin D, please!

  1. Hello, beauty! Your hair is looking magical here, I must say. I would wear white more often if I could, but I happen to be a very gifted klutz. Let’s just say it doesn’t stay white for long.
