Weekend Victory

If there is such a thing as a wearable blanket, this is it.

Bonus points if it’s socially-acceptable — especially for days like today.

Yes, it’s still cold and yes, I’m still wearing this sweater.

I know you’ve seen me in this cozy knit before, but have I told you that I found it (tags on) at a local thrift store? Major Saturday morning victory.

In fact, nearly everything I’m wearing has been a “find” of some sort — my rag & bone boots and Alexander Wang rockie were two particularly ah-mazing sample sale finds from the past year.

This got me to thinking: I’m debating whether or not to compile a post on my best-kept shopping secrets — bags, shoes, sales, where to thrift and more. Is that something you’d be interested in reading? If so, feel free to comment and/or Tweet me topic suggestions to include.

I think I need to find myself a wearable blanket that’s as chic as this! I love big, grandpa wraparound sweaters for really cold days, but they don’t work for all occasions, and of course the coldest days are always the ones full of meetings!
