High-Contrast

New York Fashion Week or not, wearing head-to-toe black-or-white has become my wardrobe MO.

Today’s ensemble is what I wore during Day One of New York Fashion Week (which I recapped yesterday).

New York’ers are all about their basic blacks — myself included — but an all-white ensemble certainly makes for a refreshing style statement. And when you’re in a rush to get out the door (as I was, naturally), a monochrome look is the easiest way to appear perfectly pulled-together.

The only worry on my mind? Coffee stains. And red wine.

Murphy’s Law (of wearing white) pretty much dictates that colored liquids will AL-WAYS find their way into my lap. What gives, universe?

My Day Two recap from Fashion Week will be up tomorrow.
