A Modern Mix of Color

For today’s look, I opted for a bright and playful upgrade on a silhouette I’ve worn time-and-time again. (I love a red midi skirt — how can you not?)

Often times during the week, I teach (SoulCycle) in the morning and/or again later in the afternoon, so my in-betweens are entirely devoted to being at my desk or being out and about, running errands and the like.

When it’s the latter, I need shoes that’ll take me from one appointment to the next — while still toeing that fashion-meets-function line.

I used to be the girl that’d walk 10 blocks in a pair of high heels, but over time, a pair of walkable wedges has very much become my shoe staple of the summer.

This pair is a real head-turner — and the foundation for building today’s outfit. Why stick to one color when you can wear ‘em all?

Somewhere along the way, mixing non-traditionally complementary colors got a bad reputation, but they can actually look quite modern when paired eye-catching.

  1. This entire outfit is absolutely stunning! I love all of the colors paired together and they’re so summery! Those wedges and that crossbody are my favorite, though!
