Pink Pastel

Everywhere we look, it seems, rose petal-colored pastels are at the fashion fore-front… Including this third glass of wine that’s staring me in the face (and starting to leave a ring around the coffee table).

At the moment, I’m at a friend’s — Gina’s — where I’d arrived with the very best of intentions to multi-task and write today’s blog post… Which never happens. Girls talk, they get to even more talking and then they walk back to the grocery store for another bottle of wine.

Those nights are the best. At the time, you don’t feel like you’ve polished off a bottle of wine… But the next morning? Yep. Oh yes. You know the ones?

At any rate, it’s been a very busy, productive week. My furniture has started to arrive (at last!), so instead of feeling like I live in a storage unit, I now feel like I live in an actual garbage facility.

There are boxes, Styrofoam packaging bits and pieces of furniture EVERYWHERE… Anyone want to come over and hang this weekend? BYOV(acuum), pretty please.

The bane of my existence? Three words: Some Assembly Required.
