Happy Friday, friends!

Peaks & Pits

Pit: Brrrr… I’m not ready for you just yet, jacket weather.

Peak: Last night, I hosted an event at Bloomingdale’s with Allure Magazine. I’ll tell you all about it next week in a full recap post, but we had such a great turn-out and it was so much fun to meet so many local social media followers. (Thank you for coming, ladies!)

Here are this week’s links:

  • I got this blush-colored faux leather jacket last week (it’s also the one I posted on Snapchat) and I could not wait to share it with you guys. It’s so gorgeous in-person! Bet you’re shocked where it’s from, huh?
  • Totally relating to this post by Coco’s Tea Party — five lessons learned in her twenties.
  • Awesome read: Here’s how a former nine-to-five’r leveraged Instagram to build a six-figure business.
  • Bustle is one of my favorite websites (and Instagram accounts), so I loved reading all about the two women who made the site into what it is today. Hell yeah, ladies!
  • You know how I’m always waxing on about how much I love NARS lip pencils? They just came out with the “NARS’ Fast Track lip kit,” which includes three of their most popular pencils. Must have!
  • My face mask of the month is Fresh’s Umbrian Clay purifying mask. It has clay-colored particles that help purify and clarify your complexion, which is a lot of skincare speak — but all I know is that my skin feels (and looks) awesome after I use it.

  1. Love the article on lessons from your 20’s. At 33 I can definitely look back & see what a period of growth that was. Priorities and goals very much change & shift well into your early 30’s - I’m sure it will continue but I definitely feel much more settled into myself than ever. I think your 20’s you’re still figuring things out as an adult & by your 30’s you have a much stronger sense of self. It’s kind of awesome!

What do you think?
