If it were possible for a calendar period to be bi-polar, the month of March is as big a bitch as they come.

Don’t get me wrong, March and I are generally on good terms: The first day of spring. My favorite holiday. College basketball. Easter Sunday. St. Patty’s Day (National Sunday Funday, hel-lo)… And so on.

I could just do without the days that mix snow and rain — especially since they tend to follow those that are 50-and-sunny. This blazer will just have to fall into Winter White category for awhile longer, I suppose.

I really can’t complain, as I’m writing to you today from laid-back San Jose, California.

I’m here for work and have a side-bar New York moment to share: Earlier this week, we saw Danny DeVito in line at airport security. While I wasn’t surprised to see how short he is in-person, I was surprised as to just how prominent that bald spot really is. He mainly kept to himself but seemed very polite. I was proud of myself for not shouting “I love you, FRANK!” (It’s Always Sunny, anyone? Or if not, The One Where the Stripper Cries?)
