It’s my second trip to the City of Light — but my first in the spring, when it’s rainy and a bit on the chilly side. This time-around, packing was a breeze… Kind of.

Here’s what’s in my suitcase (lots of which you can find on sale):

Packing for this trip was hard, because what does one wear in Paris in the spring? It’s raining, kinda chilly but — I mean, it’s Paris. A girl’s gotta look cute.

Here was my thought process:

For any trip, I begin by doing a quick audit of what I have to take with me. This usually entails whatever I wear most often at home — black jeans, white layering tanks and my favorite long sleeve tee for starters. Then, I can pepper in items I “need” based on weather, agenda and so on.

(PARIS! What more of a reason to you need to shop for a few cute pieces?)

Joe Fresh has awesome, affordable basicslike this fitted striped tee and white layering tank.

Both on the plane and once we are able to roam the city, I plan to spend most of the trip in my favorite rag & bone long sleeve tee — paired with those black jeans or J.Crew’s pixie pant. It’s all about stretchy fabrics, guys. Croissants for days. DAYS!

Bag-wise, I brought my cute fringe backpack (which is 25% off with code BIGEVENT16) because it holds my camera, an umbrella and so on. A big black carry-all is essential too.

Beyond that, I plan to mix and match all of the pieces shown above.

Have you been to Paris in the spring? What did you pack?

Lots of photos, updates and more coming over the next few days! Feel free to follow along on Instagram or via Snapchat (screenshot this or search my username is coralsncognacs).

Au revoir, mes amis!
