Happy… Wednesday, guys. June, whoa!

I’m so off on my days this week — anyone else?

I took a trip to Las Vegas over the long weekend, and it was unbelievable… So much fun.

And if it’s any indication of how this summer is going to go, I should start hydrating now. Ha! (Totes kidding, Mom…)

… Everything in moderation. Including moderation.

Ahem.

About the trip:

I’ve done Vegas before, and I knew it was going to be one of those vacations where we spent little to no time in the room.

Thankfully, I’d packed an arsenal of dresses that wear easy to throw on and head (back) out the door after a quick rinse of that day’s poolside festivities.

The same style strategy has held true for me thus far in the days I’ve been back in Chicago, too… Easy does it.

Anything that doesn’t require too much thinking (/styling) is a prerequisite, like this perfectly pretty, pleated dress that I styled with a statement-making fedora and lace-up wedges. (FYI:(on sale and also here in navy.)

The only bad thing about a short work-week is trying to cram seven days worth of things to do into six, but hey — no complaints. We’re halfway to Friday, which deserves a hell yeah!
