An Unexpected Style Pairing

Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks it’s been…

Lots of photos, updates, recaps and recommendations from a few recent jaunts to Paris, Napa and San Francisco will be up within the next few weeks; but in the meantime, I’m finally feeling ready to get back on track with my “boring” weekly work and workout routine for a bit.

… Routine. Sounds blissful!

As an effort to get re-inspired by my fall wardrobe, I’ve been pairing a few of my favorite pieces together in a rather nontraditional sense…

Today, for example: A leather skirt with a chunky turtleneck? Sure, why not?

I’ve been leaning more on the minimal side as of late, but I’ve always loved mixing unexpected elements in the style sense. Half the fun in fashion is actually playing around with it, no?

The shoes, though. Aren’t they insane? Weird as hell, admittedly, and I’m fully in love with ’em. Shocked at how comfortable they are, too — and they’re 25% off at the moment (as is everything else on Loeffler Randall’s website) and they also now come in black.
