Four Ways to Wear: (Not so) Basic Beige

As we discussed this week, it’s all about texture if you’re mixing basic shades of beige. That said, here’s a few ideas to inspire your next ensemble. (And, okay, I threw a blush tone or two in there. As well as a dip-dye. How’s a girl to resist?)

Remix or Match: Affordable Summer Swimwear

Swimsuit season can be a daunting time, and when it comes to shopping in the summer, bathing suits are one item I just can’t justify spending a fortune on.

This season, though, there’s no need to stress. While you’re on your own when it comes to nabbing a tanned and toned beach bod, Old Navy’s got you covered with a variety of cute bikinis and wearable one-pieces that suit a variety of tastes.

Here’s a few of my favorite styles from this season’s collection.

Floral and neon and prints, oh my! I like to mix up matching styles, so I’m particularly excited that all of these pieces (and more) are on sale now through June 27. Click over to stock up and shop the stock up and shop the Old Navy swimsuit sale.

Old Navy brings fashion fun to the whole family: from trendy threads to trusty basics, for newborns through adults, all at prices that are oh-so-right. Cha-ching!

Four Ways to Wear: Cropped Pants

After yesterday’s post, you probably aren’t surprised to know that I’ve been living in these Chelsea Cropped pants for the past two weeks, are you? Seriously — and as a petite gal, I’ve been conditioned to think cropped pants, maxi dresses and the like were out of my league. SOL at 5’4″ for life.

Au contraire, as I’ve learned in time. With the right styling, anyone can wear this trend — regardless of height, weight, shape and beyond. Here’s a dose of inspiration to get your creative outfit creation juices flowing:

So, where do you weigh in on these styles? Call them Pedal Pushers if you must, but the truth is: Cropped pants are timeless, ageless, and are easily dressed up or dressed down. For that reason, I’m digging the natural progression of the not-quite-at-your-mid-calf pants trend — especially since it’s nine-to-five-friendly. I mean, really, what better way to show off a killer pair of shoes?

*Shop these looks:

Five Ways to Wear: A Pop of Leopard Print

The most common problem that even the most style-savvy among us encounter when it comes to wearing leopard is wearing too much of it. So, as an additional dose of outfit inspiration from my most recent outfit post, here’s my take on five more ways to wear leopard print. Which one’s your favorite?

*These prints make for a perfect toned-town look; add boots and a
