For this week's outfit series, I'm tucking away my vibrant hues and neon shades and going back to basics with a neutral-toned palette. From camel to taupe and beige to blush, blending in never looked so good.

The challenge that this trend presents is looking naturally chic in head-to-toe neutrals without looking washed out.
Neutral separates, like blazers, jackets, cardigans and coats, look bolder with refined prints and dark trims, so pick pieces with black or tortoise-shell buttons, zippers and buckles, and so on.
Today, in order to add excitement to an otherwise muted outfit, I reached for this jacket and its eye-catching pattern. I love this piece! Do you agree that it made all the difference?
