Narciso Rodriguez: Rich in Geometry

There's a lot to love about Narciso Rodriguez's controversial spring collection, but what won me over was the sportswear-inspired graphic prints and asymmetrical hems that swirled as his models walked.

Admittedly, I'm no expert (obvi; I'm a market researcher from nine-to-five), but I didn't quite feel that every single element of his collection belonged together.

Nonetheless, Narcisco is one of my favorite fashion risk-takers, so I appreciated his seasonal cotton shirt-dresses, aqua-and-silver silhouettes, airy geometric prints, and heavier earth tones of clever layering ... just on a more individual scale.

Narciso Rodriguez S/S 2012

1 Jacket (a more affordable style here) / 2 Top / 3 Shoes
4 Skinnies (I have 'em, they're uh-mazing) / 5 Bangles / 6 Belt / 7 Bag

I love Narcisco Rodriguez....pricey line but the quality is amazing. That moto chic leather jacket is TDF, I'd love to get one to add to my wardrobe!

Great post but I have to agree with you. I'm not sure I am in love with this collection.

Don't you just love how the color blocking trend from this Spring is making it's way into Fall? I really like your take on the trend with your concept board.

Thanks for visiting my blog too!

I am loving your take on the Fashion Week collections. Sound kind of lame but you seriously have a great eye for interpreting collections. Can't wait to read more!
