corals + Capwell: A $500 Giveaway

There’s a few things about today’s post that I think you’ll like…

… Cupcakes, champagne, shenanigans & a $500 giveaway that’s up-for-grabs.

Before I continue in my outfits from Arizona, I wanted to share a fun collaboration with Capwell + Co that I was a part of this spring. In addition, you can enter to win one of five $100 giftcards to Capwell at the bottom of this post.

I was first introduced to Capwell late last year, a brand born from the belief that jewelry should be an accessible luxury.

I’m a retail hoarder in every sense of the word (handbags, shoes — you name it), so I was thrilled to learn that Capwell’s price point was well under $100. Even more so when they asked if I’d like to be a part of their spring look-book a few months later.

I obliged, of course, and spent the day styling the spring collection with a few NYC-based bloggers. While it’s hard to play favorites, I gravitated toward the lucite and candy-colored pieces.

The shoot began at 10 a.m. sharp on a Sunday, and with my champagne-soaked anniversary binge last month (details on that here), I was — admittedly — lookin’ a little haggard. Thankfully, PRIV (an on-demand beauty & wellness app) was on-site for hair and make-up.

With the help of a little hair of the dog — a la mimosas — and a lot of sugar, I was back in action in no time.

For any/all brands reading this, I’m totally joking. Kind of. I’m, like, really buttoned up in-person…

Ah, who am I kidding?

For my first look, I kept my outfit’s color scheme on the simple side so that the jewels really pop. I threw on this antiqued necklace, piled on a few bracelets and a statement-making cocktail ring, which I actually wore during Fashion Week in February.

We took turns venturing to Bryant Park — in haute pursuit of fresh blooms and spring vibes. It was freezing on the day-of, which garnered more stares than usual from passers-by.

“It’s 30 degrees! She must be from LA,” said one jaded New Yorker (with a very clear case of Seasonal Affect Disorder), gaping at my bare legs.

I didn’t have it in me to fire back. Instead, I took that as validation that my “spring look” was spot-on.

As a thanks for participating, Capwell was kind enough to gift me $500 to shop the spring collection. Considering the aforementioned hoarder tendencies, though, I wanted to pay it forward instead and give you a chance to pick up some new baubles for spring — on me.

That said, here’s the details.

    • Oh, great question. Sorry! My dress is from Piperlime awhile ago (here’s a few similar options: https://www.lulus.com/categories/13_262_475/white-dresses.html) and the leather jacket is Zara. Boots are D&G from a sample sale. All of my jewelry is Capwell, of course!

  2. Love the feminine dress with the edgy leather jacket!

Great giveaway! Fingers crossed. Capwell has such great items - I love the chevron ring, multi colored seed bead fringe necklace and the gold braided chain tassel necklace.
