No Pants Policy

The month of August is more or less the unsung hero of the season… Don’t you think?

Think about it. August!

August is the freakin’ best.

I mean, we’ve all finally hit our summer stride, and there’s no time like the hot-as-hell present to remind you with pestering persistence: Soak it in. Soak it all in. (Quite literally, I suppose.)

For now, I’m choosing to forget the fact that September is a few weeks away (apologies for the reminder) and have instead instigated a No Pants Policy.

In other words, I’m wearing shorts, dresses and skirts like my life depends on it… After all, summer is the season dedicated to the fine art of exerting little to no effort, no?

(Save for the fact that I wear lycra or spandex to my job on the reg.)

Today’s look is all about keepin’ it easy, breezy while still making a major statement… I’m actually wearing my go-to fit-and-flare dress — wait for it — underneath a skirt. Bam!

Two birds, one stone — in way. Have you tried this style trick before?
