A Pop of Pink

While I love an all-black-err’thang ensemble, nothing perks up an otherwise dreary day quite like this pink pleated skirt.

It’s been cloudy and cold in Chicago the past few days — which I like to refer to as “Drake weather.”

I really can’t complain, though, as it’s been a welcome excuse to hunker down at my desk and get some work done (whilst listening to Hotline Bling on repeat).

As the temperature insists on continually cooling, I’ve been dusting off a few of my jackets from last season — I almost forgot how much I love cape weather…

You know, that awkward, in-between that doesn’t quite merit a coat, but without an extra layer you’d be cold.

I fell in love with this cape-looking blazer when I first laid eyes on it at Macy’s (yep!) this season. At the moment, it seems to be sold out everywhere beyond BCBG’s website, but I found a similar version under $80 for you.
