Hamptons Summer Style

On yesterday’s notion of escapes (or — more specifically — potential suitors with Hamptons houses), I recently re-discovered these photos, snapped on our first trip to Southampton this summer.

We were staying at a quaint little hotel that had a garden of an oasis and not too many children. That latter one’s a crucial element, am I right?

Poolside or not, I couldn’t help but walk around barefoot all day. And since it was my first real “escape” from New York City, I really milked the whole “beachy waves” thing. Vacation hair is a look, right?

That dress is absolutely STUNNING!! It is such a gorgeous sea foam color, a color which to me epitomizes summer. Going to the Hamptons during the summer has always been a dream of mine and it sure looks to me from the posts you’ve done about your trip, that it definitely was a dream! <3 it!
