Back, Back to New York, New York

Short but sweet from me this Tuesday morning, as I’m currently at 40,000 feet — en route back to NYC for a few days.

I realize it’s Tuesday, but how was your weekend? I spent mine dancing for hours on end at two concerts — Disclosure and Kaskade. (INCREDIBLE!)

To say my feet (still) hurt would be a serious understatement, so for this week’s blog- and work-related meetings, a walkable bootie is a no-brainer.

I’ve packed a few of my favorite seemingly simple basics — featured in today’s post — as they’ll be easy to mix-and-match with each other: The signature blanket scarf, a suede jacket (this one that’s ~$100), a cashmere sweater and faux-leather mini-skirt.

These pieces will be perfect for the array of morning meetings, late night cocktail dates and the like that occupy on my agenda over the next few days — and whatever weather this city wants to throw at us.

I’m excited to hit up a few of my favorite old spots, have dinner with a few friends, and — of course- get back on the SoulCycle bike with some of my OG Instructors. The ones from back in the day.

It’s kinda like going back to school for a little refresh, you know?

Chicago, I’ll be back for you on Friday. Stay warm(ish) in the interim, pretty please!
