Rooftopin’

Last week, I hopped on the subway after work and met a few of the girls for drinks atop the James Hotel — one of my favorite rooftops in New York.

I’ve been wearing a lot of breathable black fabrics this summer (this one especially, it’s from my go-to New York boutique, Otte). Anything else just isn’t an option. On the subway in particular; it’s hard enough to breathe let alone control your own perspiration.

The sweat-infused journey was well worth the trip downtown, though; despite the humidity, there was lots of of bubbly, pretty baubles by Capwell and best of all, an amazing view of Manhattan.

In addition to expertly crafted cocktails, The Jimmy (as it’s called) has an outdoor deck surrounding a crystal-clear pool that features downtown and uptown views of New York’s jaw-dropping skyline. Perfect for (many) after-work drinks or starting a Saturday night off right…. And on that note, is it Friday yet?

  1. I am LOVING those sunglasses on you!! Not many people can pull off a cat eye but they bring just the right amount of glam & sassy for you.

  2. LOVE your heels! You look stunning in them. Hope you guys had a great time!
