Dog Years

Life in New York City is the equivalent to dog years.

Jess and I read that awhile back, and it instantly resonated.

New York City has a reputation for a number of things. Above all else, though, there’s something about the perpetual cycle of constant change and adaption that seems to make life happen here faster than it does anywhere else. (And I’m simply speaking to my own personal experience, having lived in multiple major cities in the US.)

On the notion of dog years, Fashion Week is in a matter of hours… Or so it seems. On Thursday, the city’s style scene will shift into overdrive as all the fashionably elite from around the globe descend on Manhattan.

I’m not sure where the past few weeks (months, actually) went, but I’m ready as ever to storm the tents (in weather-proof boots). Of course, I’ll be sharing frequent updates on Instagram and the blog with you. Remember my posts from last season? Oh yes — you can bet they’ll be back and better than ever…

Because in New York — and during Fashion Week — we carpe that fucking diem. Even in leggings and a sweatshirt.

  1. Want. That. Pashli. So. Bad. Currently saving for one! I think I need that sweatshirt too. Wish Zara had a Canadian website already! Not til March :(

  2. That has to be my favorite graphic sweatshirt/tee I’ve seen you in since your infamous “New York F***king City” tee! Love it! As always, love how you styled in with some great bling! NYFW is almost here - are you ready girl?! I look forward to your posts! Next best thing to being there and experiencing it with you! Hopefully someday that’ll become a reality! 😉
