Crop Top Turtleneck

Sartorially speaking, there’s nothing I love more than a perfectly concentrated pop of color.

Winter blues? Not here.

… Not yet, at least.

And, okay — admittedly, these photos were taken a day or two before the most recent polar vortex blanketed the East Coast, so that may have something to do with it.

Kate Spade Saturday Crop Top and Boots

You know how we’ve been talking about the appeal of a more minimalist wardrobe? Well, Kate Spade Saturday — purveyor of all things spirited, cute and colorful — is playing the same game.

Last week, the brand debuted an array of new arrivals called the Lucky Seven — a collection of fun, easy mix-and-match separates that’ll make our pared-down wardrobes much more wearable.

Among the collection is a cute (and functional) pocket dress, a weekend-worthy sweatshirt dress, and their best-selling striped satchel. I’ve been wearing the merino wool crop top turtleneck and matching skirt on the reg — along with a colorful topper. In today’s case, it’s my favorite bright yellow blazer, which is a seasonal staple that perks up my look without without being too over-the-top.

On another note, here’s a fun fact: Want to know what I really came close to naming today’s blog post?
