Loooove that jacket! What a gorgeous color!!
Well I LOVE this outfit, so keep yolo’ing. XX
YOLO is right lady - might as well live it up with a few weekday-wine sessions while you can! And I must say, that outfit doesn’t scream “I woke up five minutes ago” at all- kudos! When I have 5 minutes to get ready, I’m usually wearing yoga pants. Clearly you have a little more skill
If I didn’t have to leave the apartment and go to work, trust. It would’ve been yoga pants all day.
On a related note, have you tried J.Crew’s signature legging? I swear by them for fall/winter — they’re thick (read: not see-through) and really comfortable. Highly recommend! I’m actually wearing mine today… Haha.
A day of wine and small bites sounds too fun to pass up! You look cute anyway, my hangovers are a lot less pretty and polished than that
THOSE ARE THE SHOES! Holy goodness I’d sit on the ground for them and worse actually. Your running late outfits sure beat the heck out of my running late outfits

Hahaha, yep! These are the shoes. So funny that you were able to make that connection — kudos, girl. I’m dying laughing!
get it girl. I know the feeling of rushing out the door for photos all too well!
I love the whipstitch detailing on those booties!

haha you so silly… love the outfit and the post. like they say, write drunk, edit sober! xo
Haha, wise words! Clearly I need to make this happen more often…
Sometimes, drunk-ishly writing is the best! You write what you’re thinking and don’t spend nearly as much time trying to be clever (well, you’re always clever, but me over here…) and then proof it once. Also, hello easy sleep! No matter how long I’ve been staring at the screen, wine always tucks me in quite nicely at night 😉
I feel like this happens to my posts WAY too often — though I do find I can actually write more quickly and more authentically after an evening of wine-ing… what can I say, the glass of red always wins!
xo, Liz
{What Dress Code?}
Oh my goshhh after yesterday’s comment about my obsession with your booties I’m OFFICIALLY jealous! I’ve been obsessed with those A. Wang booties since I first saw them! I also love the top, skirt, jacket and hat but the booties are my fav! 😉
And I’ll have to agree with commenters before me…wine writing seems to always be the best. I cranked out two posts last night after 2 glasses!

Lol - if only we were the same shoe size!
I think we’re onto something… Let’s host tipsy tweet-ups during post concepting/drafting! Seriously though.
I love your ability to take random items from your closet and look amazing! Your shoes are KILLER and I love how you actually use your items over and over again instead of the one-and-done.

Love this look! I am definitely a “serial snoozer” no matter what. The VV preview looked amazing! You had quite the day yesterday!

Popping over after seeing your bit on Vmac & Cheese. You’re fun and sassy. Me likey!
Loving this so much! You always know how to make me laugh!

However much drunk you were, you look wonderful in this floral and these shoes.
Seriously such a great look, I am loving the skirt and that floral blouse!
xo
Great meeting you the other night! These booties are To Die For!
Well you look fab, so I say night = success. xoxo
There’s no judgement here. I’m of the mindset that a day spent with bite-size morsals, cheese and wine makes for the best days. Also, having a well curated closet allows for easy/chic throw-ons like this. Love this skirt!
Well, I must say, for someone who is running late, you sure pulled it together fabulously! I love florals for fall and love even more that you added a great leather b-ball cap! Nice!
