Rulebreaker

PSA: I’m wearing white-on-white(-on-white) today.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Oh, God. Here come the YAAAS! White! AND BEFORE Memorial Day!” rebel cry-type blog posts.

Alas, no. Not here.

Proof that rules were made to be broken is in the one about wearing white before and/or after a certain date on the calendar. Or something.

I won’t harp on the fact that you can, should and probably already are wearing white jeans before Memorial Day, because this is an atrociously antiquated rule that we’re well beyond… Right? Right. Okay.

Ironically enough, I wore an ensemble very similarly to this just after Labor Day last year — and it just so happens to be one of my favorites looks to date. Though, then, it was unseasonably warm in New York. I can’t say the same for the spring we’ve had… That Mother Nature is one bi-polar bitch.

Whether its spring, summer, winter or fall, if it’s white, I say we should we wearing it. Perhaps this is my way of exercising extremes? All white err’thang all. the. time.

Really living on the sartorial edge, here. Who’s with me?
